Umbris appreciates the value of refined design. True enjoyment arises from visual harmony, where every element is in perfect balance. We integrate motors seamlessly into the roof structure. Our pole profiles are the slimmest on the market and form a single sleek, welded unit. We position these strategically to match the form and style of your home. Corner positioning is possible, but Umbris thinks beyond this. Instead of a traditional pole, we work with decorative supporting elements – such as a frame with or without slats – that both provide support and are aesthetically pleasing. This prevents a blocky look and creates a light, elegant addition to your home without dominating your surroundings.
We also weigh up the best options for colours and materials: what is already there? What colour are your windows? Is your style simpler and sleeker, or warm and organic with abundant wood? All colours and combinations are possible, as the powder coating and production takes place in our own workshop in Lokeren.
From design and sales to production and installation: everything is done in-house at Umbris. This means you can count on smooth communication and meticulous follow-up from A to Z.
The first contact with our sales team takes place at our concept store in Lokeren. We prefer to work by appointment, so we can free up plenty of time for you. During our discussion we’ll listen to your requirements, and you’ll discover the numerous customisation possibilities that Umbris offers. After an initial assessment, you will receive a guideline price, and we will schedule a follow-up appointment at your home, where we will thoroughly examine the situation on-site and optimally tailor the design to your surroundings.
If desired, our designers can make a 3D rendering of your louvred roof, in which we provide detailed simulations of, for example, how the mood changes when you turn on the lights. After all the aesthetic and functional details have been determined and you have placed your order, we conduct a site survey. We make a technical drawing and discuss foundations, electricity and water, among other things. Where possible, we take care of the technical installations ourselves; or we contact your established contractor, plumber or electrician for a clear briefing.
Once the drawings have been approved, the craftspeople in our production workshop get started on completing your fully tailor-made project, personalised right down to the smallest screw. Finally, our montage team will come and install the louvred roof at your home.
