In this exclusive project, we collaborated with Dieter Vander Velpen Architects, an Antwerp-based architectural and interior design form specialising in high-end residential projects.
Their philosophy of couture architecture perfectly aligns with our commitment to premium bespoke solutions. Together, we crafted a seamless, fully customised patio cover that subtly connects the family’s indoor and outdoor spaces. The design highlights the importance of versatility and excels in its uniqueness, refinement and functionality.
As if it had always been this way, inextricably linked: thanks to meticulous preparation, carefully selected materials and flawless execution, this patio cover appears effortlessly woven into the original design by Dieter Vander Velpen Architects.
Every thoroughly considered choice reveals a subtle eye for detail. The aluminium louvred roof was powder-coated in exactly the same shade of white as the taps inside the house and in the bathroom, ensuring a seamless visual continuity that blurs the boundary between indoors and out.
For the exterior finish, Thermo Ayous wood was used for both the door and the wall to achieve a perfect symbiosis with the outdoor flooring and to reinforce the organic connection to the surrounding environment.

The wall enhances the sense of seclusion and privacy. Welcome guests are granted direct access to the patio and adjacent pool house via a subtle and expertly crafted sliding door.
