That’s exactly what this family approached us to create. Crafted for their dream outdoor lifestyle, we designed a luxurious outdoor lounge and wellness area, complete with an architectural patio cover.
Of course, the jacuzzi is a great place to relax. But this Umbris cover also provides comfort, no matter what the weather. The louvred roof provides shelter from rain and strong sunlight. The wooden horizontal louvres in the seating area serve two purposes: they offer essential protection from the wind and create shade in the summer, while also allowing cool air to circulate. In any case, privacy is guaranteed because they screen the patio from the street and the neighbours’ home.
After an evening jacuzzi, fancy kicking back in the lounge for a while? The modern lighting strips and the heating elements that are incorporated into the louvred roof create a cosy and inviting atmosphere, even when it’s dark and the temperatures dip.
The strong design of this louvred roof immediately catches the eye. The architecture is impressive, but thanks to the careful placement of supporting elements, it remains airy. By not placing a post in the corner, we created visual dynamism and an unobstructed view from the house. Like the decorative element with vertical slats in the middle, which functions as a support post and adds a surprising focal point to the overall structure.
The roof design also adapts to the terrace’s elevation. As the steps to the jacuzzi appear, the louvred roof transitions into a slatted one, seamlessly blending into the open area between the extended beams. These thoughtful details highlight the added value of our customization.
And there are still more valuable details concealed in this design. For example, the raised patio boasts hidden storage space for the lounge cushions, and hooks for towels or robes are welded onto the vertical slats. This demonstrates how Umbris truly helps you to conceptualize the entire experience of your outdoor space.
